Wow! Wow! Wow! What a great concert day! Two great concerts! Thank you to everyone who came. Thank you to all the friends and families of the RVCC. And THANK YOU to all our wonderful choristers! Congratulations on a beautiful day of singing!
Thank you again to everyone involved - the choristers, the parents, the families, the volunteers, the backstage crew, the Jefferson center, the instrumentalists, the accompianists, and the audience! Every person, every part, every note, every song, every extra special thing came together just right. We are so proud of our singers and their accomplishments!

31st Annual Spring Concert
April 22, 2018 at the Jefferson Center in Roanoke, VA
230 children ages 7-18 from around the Roanoke Valley singing traditional and fun choral music, with a focus on beautiful singing, musical excellence, and lasting bonds of friendship and accomplishment.
Concert Description:
The Roanoke Valley Children’s Choir, under the direction of Kimberly Ruse Davidson, presented their 31st Annual Spring Concert, “A Little Spring Music” on Sunday, April 22, 2018 with concerts at 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm at Shaftman Hall, Jefferson Center in Roanoke, VA.
Musical selections included classical, folk, gospel, Broadway and patriotic, accompanied by a professional string quartet. The Concert finale included all 230 choristers singing selections from “Oliver” choreographed by Kevin Jones. Both concerts closed with a patriotic salute that included the Salem High School Flag Corp.
The Roanoke Valley Children’s Choir offers an in depth program of 3 training choirs and a concert choir with a total of 230 children ages 7-18. Other recent featured performances for the RVCC Concert Choir include the 2008 and 2014 Southern Division American Choral Director Conventions, the ACDA National Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2015, a solo performance at Carnegie Hall in 2016, and solo and festival performances in Canterbury Cathedral in 2017.
